Greatest Peptides Is Not a HIPAA Covered Entity
Greatest Peptides is a research-supplies retailer. We sell laboratory research compounds; we do not provide medical treatment, diagnosis, prescriptions, or healthcare services of any kind. As a result, Greatest Peptides is not a “covered entity” or a “business associate” as those terms are defined under the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) or its implementing regulations (45 C.F.R. Parts 160, 162, and 164).
We Do Not Collect Protected Health Information
In the ordinary course of business, Greatest Peptides does not collect, request, or process Protected Health Information (“PHI”). We do not request medical history, diagnoses, prescription records, lab results, insurance details, or any other information that would constitute PHI. Customers are asked only for information necessary to verify eligibility, fulfill an order, and process payment, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Please Do Not Send Us PHI
Customers should NOT submit medical records, prescription information, treatment notes, or other PHI through any contact method including email, customer support tickets, order notes, or web forms. If we inadvertently receive PHI, we will delete it from our systems and inform the sender that PHI cannot be accepted.
Privacy Protections That Do Apply
While HIPAA does not apply to our business, we do safeguard the personal information you provide in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable U.S. consumer privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act.
